In this study, MAKULIT: A Gamified Mobile Application for Interactive Kapampangan Language and Kulitan Learning is a mobile learning application for Kapampangan vocabulary and basic Kulitan writing skills. This study addresses the need for accessible and interactive digital teaching materials for Kapampangan language and traditional writing systems. MAKULIT is a dictionary containing two types of entries: Kapampangan and English words along with their definitions, pronunciation, and guidance on how to write the Kapampangan words, with some interactive activities, gamification elements (points, rewards, challenges, feedback, progress tracking), and a special section for tracing the Kulitan characters. The application is designed using the Agile Scrum methodology, and the evaluation is carried out with a descriptive-developmental research design using a quantitative method. A panel of selected IT professionals and students from the Systems Plus College Foundation evaluates the software quality, usability, functionality, efficiency, reliability, compatibility, and interactive learning experience of the application. The study is not concerned with advanced mastery of language or language conservation, but rather basic to intermediate acquisition of the Kapampangan language and basic to elementary literacy of Kulitan. MAKULIT is set to be a mobile, accessible, and interactive language learning tool that integrates language learning with traditional writing-system training and gamification in one place.
